Drive Star operates its North American Drive-A-Way & Tow-A-Way Operations in three distinct market niches:

  • Local
  • Regional
  • Long Haul

Our Long Haul service offering is made up of five niche market offerings:

  1. Single Unit Drive-A-Way
  2. Over Dimensional & Specialized Drive-A-Way
  3. Piggyback/Decking
  4. Boom Transfers
  5. Tow-A-Way

We provide Drive-A-Way & Tow-A-Way Services Interstate & Intrastate as well as Inter-Provincial and Extra-Provincial.

  • Our Local Truck Delivery Service is offered in those cities in which Drive Star has a terminal or satellite branch. We offer pickup and delivery for our local city customers as well as provide support services to our Central Operations group.
  • Our Regional Truck Delivery Service is provided by our terminal, satellite and central operations groups. We offer pickup and delivery of trucks within a 300 mile radius of any terminal or satellite branch for our regional customer base as well as for our central operations group. We can also provide regional deliveries for our customers in those areas and cities where we do not have terminal or satellite operations at a different price point.
  • Our Long Haul (or more commonly known as our “Highway”) Truck Delivery Service is handled through our Central Dispatch department available at 866 – 378 – 7827. We offer full service Single Unit Drive-A-Way and Piggybacking throughout North America.


Each of our terminals is responsible for sourcing customers in their geographic area offering all three levels of service. However, the ultimate responsibility for long haul transfers rests with the Central Operations group.

We understand that each of our customers is unique and that each customer may have their own service level requirements.

It is for this reason that we have developed four distinct service/pricing options for Single Unit “OTR” Drive-A-Way;

Expedited Service:
This service is offered to those customers who are faced with the most demanding service requirements. When this service is selected, you can expect the vehicle to be picked up within 24 hours of the vehicle’s completion/readiness date. When it’s just gotta get there sooner than later call 866-378-7827 and request our expedited service. Please Note: Expedited Service refers to response time to vehicle pick up and not delivery. Delivery will be effected according to all DoT operations.

 

3 Day Service:
This service is offered to those customers who are faced with less demanding service requirements, however, must still have their equipment picked up within a short period of time. When this service is selected, you can expect the vehicle to be picked up within 3 days of the vehicles completion/readiness date. This service is generally a less expensive option than our expedited service with the same level of care and attention as you would expect had you chosen our Expedited Service. When it’s gotta get there on time call 866-378-7827. Please Note: 3 Day Service refers to response time to vehicle pick up and not delivery. Delivery will be effected according to all DoT operating constraints. Weather, traffic and other acts beyond our control may affect delivery date and time.

 

7 Day Service:
This service is offered to those customers who are more focused on cost than being able to predict delivery. When this service is selected, you can expect the vehicle to be picked up within 7 days of the vehicles completion/readiness date. This service is generally the least expensive option, however, when choosing our “7 Day Service”, you will continue to receive the same level of care and attention as you would expect from our other services. When professionalism is a priority, call 866-378-7827. Please Note: 7 Day Service refers to response time to vehicle pick up and not delivery. Delivery will be effected according to all DoT operating constraints. Weather, traffic and other acts beyond our control may affect delivery date and time

 

“Your Rate:”
This service is offered to those customers who are solely focused on cost. When this service is selected, the vehicle will be scheduled and picked up when it meets our operational and network requirements. When choosing “Your Rate” you will continue to receive the same level of care and attention as you would expect had you chosen one of our other service levels.When cost is the only concern, but professionalism is a priority, call 866-378-7827. Please Note:“Your Rate” service does not guarantee a response time to vehicle pick up. Delivery will be effected according to all DoT operating constraints. Weather, traffic and other acts beyond our control may affect delivery date and time.

Our Piggybacking, Boom Transfer and Tow-A-Way services are offered throughout North America. We at Drive Star are one of only a very select few that can offer service point to point in both Canada and the United States including cross border services
